About
My story
I am a woman originally from Montreal and a first-generation jeweler. My passion for jewelry making began very early. This passion came to fruition when I discovered that the Cégep du Vieux Montréal offered the technique en métiers d'art profil joaillerie in association with the École de Joaillerie de Montréal to learn how to work precious metals by hand. After my secondary studies, I began this training which I completed in 2014. It was a little later, in 2017, that I launched my first collection.
I chose the profession of jeweler above all because it allows me to create art that can be worn and for a long time. Another advantage of this profession is that with my knowledge, I can repair jewelry and recover the material with a minimum of resources.
My creative process
My artistic vision translates into creations that combine my passion for jewelry techniques and my desire to create an asymmetrical harmony. My main goal is to capture the second glance, the one we give to the object to understand and explore it in depth and to make us take the time to discover the details of the things that surround us.
Whether it's for my collections or the custom pieces I make for my clients, I always have comfort, durability and authenticity in mind. It all starts with a source of inspiration or criteria to respect, that's how I choose the direction to take. Increasingly, I use 3D modeling as a tool to bring certain aspects of my projects to life.
My values
What I value most is integrity and honesty. Being clear and transparent is essential to me. It is important that my clients know exactly who they are working with, what they are buying, how the jewelry is made and to make sure I understand them.
The local economy, the environment, ethical fashion and knowledge sharing are part of the concerns of my practice. Every day, I take concrete actions with the aim of improving my activity and raising awareness in my community.
